Echoes from the Past - African American Voices at Gettysburg

“Every year thousands visit Gettysburg, home of the famous battlefield and the cemetery where Abraham Lincoln uttered immortal words that gave the battle a higher meaning. Now hear the story from the point of view of local people of color whose lives were changed by these momentous events.” Deb McCauslin, local historian.
This 1.5-2-hour walking tour will meet in front of the Gettysburg Hotel. Cost $10 per person, payable at the time of registration, space is limited. The tour is being sponsored through the Gail and Peter Hull Fund Adams County Community Foundation and Miko Interior Design, York.
